Juvenile Female From Lone Oak Was Passenger In Afternoon Pursuit

Lone Oak officer called pursuit earlier this afternoon of a newer black Chrysler 300.

We have learned that Lone Oak officer 701 attempted to pull over a speeding vehicle, 62 in a 45. The vehicle failed to stop, starting the pursuit. Vehicle reached speeds as high as 150MPH, with the chase ending in Rockwall, after tires were spiked.

We have confirmed the driver of the car was a 16 year old Male subject from Balch Springs. He is being charged with, possession of marijuana & drug paraphernalia, also charges of eluding & a warning for  no drivers license.

The passenger was a juvenile female from Lone Oak. She has had no charges filed against her as of now. She was transported back to the school, to be turned over to her parents.

This ended without any MAJOR accidents. With speeds of 150MPH, this would have killed these children, or any other vehicle this car may have hit. The driver stated he took off because he was scared.
